The level of threat facing the ocean and the need for action are being spotlighted like never before. Our Ocean conference is a part of the solution in this pivotal time. This year the conference was in Oslo and Empower was in the panel facing the challenges Part II: Taking action on ocean pollution. We also had a week long exhibition near the Oslo Central station. Did you know that through our Empower ocean quiz participants we collected 2000 kgs of plastic waste? How you say? Keep reading to know all the fun details!

Our CEO Wilhelm Myrer represented Empower in the panel facing the challenges Part II: Taking action on ocean pollution along with the French Secretary of State to the Minister for the Ecological and Inclusive Transition, Brune Poirson, Chief Sustainability Officer of PepsiCo Simon Lowden and Environmental Investigation Agency’s Tim Grabiel. Their discussion gave insights to the different needs in the various sectors and regions in the world, all the while reflecting the need for transparency and traceability in all stages of any solution. Great that Empowers digital solution provides exactly that, right? We are very happy to see the demand and the follow up on the path to how we can help solve some of the challenges.
