Proud to announce that Marine Recycling Cluster where Empower is a partner has been included in the elite division as Arena Cluster by Innovation Norway. The program is aiming to spark increased innovation and collaboration between businesses, research and educational environments, and the public sector.
The MRC cluster wants to lead the way to a cleaner ocean through smart technology and better methods. There is a great need for products and services that can streamline marine cleanup and prevent ocean pollution.
MRC, was established in 2016 and is a group of cooperating companies within a wide range of operations, from drone surveillance and marine bio-research to clean-up operations and waste processing. Empower are developing a complete value chain within marine debris mapping and analysing, clean-up and waste handling.
We partner with maritime and environment authorities, different types of organizations and private companies in Norway and abroad.
