It’s been a long few months since development on this version of the protocol kicked off. We are happy to announce: Version 2 of the Empty Set protocol is now live.
Migration
The migration process has been initiated by the Treasury multisig so users can now exchange their ESD tokens & Bonded ESDS for ESS tokens. The process is outlined in the documentation. You can find the tutorial here.
Liquidity Bootstrapping
With the launch of the protocol, we have setup two incentivizers to promote the creation of DSU and provision liquidity for the ESS token. The following pairs are eligible:
- Curve.fi Metapool — DSU<> 3CRV
- Uniswap V2 — ESS <> DSU
In order to provide liquidity you need to have the underlying tokens. To get the Empty Set protocol tokens you can do the following:
- ESS — Migrate your ESD tokens via the tool on the homepage. Guide here
- DSU — You can mint DSU in the Dollar page in the application. Guide here
Once you have added tokens to the pool, you can stake your LP tokens here
Whats next?
Now that the protocol is live, we can focus on a number of activities to raise awareness about Empty Set v2, engage with other protocols to aid their integrations, and produce materials to help the DeFi ecosystem understand where Empty Set fits in. We look forward to the coming weeks.
