Welcome to our fifth Monthly Update!

- The Ledger crew came by the EmurgoHK office and they explained their fantastic vision for the future of cryptocurrency. We’re looking forward to cooperating more in the future!

- EmurgoHK’s Director of Tech gave a live Q&A session in Brisbane Australia. Brisbane is the place to be Down Under for blockchain, and we are looking forward to exploring partnerships down in Queensland.

- Cardano ADA is now available on our partner IronFX’s MT4 platform. We believe this is a big step to bridging traditional and crypto trading!
- ADA will be able to traded against USD on Bittrex from the 5th of September!
- IOHK CEO Charles Hoskinson participated in a panel discussion at the Blockchain Futurists Conference in Toronto earlier this month, which was moderated by Larry King. Check out the video!
Quite a bit of news came out of our portfolio company Traxia and it’s technology provider LiqEase. Here are our handpicked choices:
- LiqEase opened new offices in Madrid and Hong Kong, vastly expanding their operational capabilities worldwide.
- Part of the team flew to Hong Kong and presented the LiqEase solution during Demo Day at Oracle’s ‘Building Open, Digital Banks of the Future’ Hackathon. They also got a chance to test Oracle’s new open banking APIs on a real use case there, which will later be integrated into the LiqEase platform.
- The guys published a video from the recent ‘Blockchain for Trade Finance and Supply Chain’ event. Check it out to get valuable insights into the event and the industry itself.
- The team will be returning to Slush Shanghai, after winning last year’s pitching competition. Visit them at their LiqEase booth on September 7th and 8th!
