Encode x Filecoin Accelerator Summary

On Thursday 7th April, our Encode x Filecoin accelerator ended following a pitching session!
The teams chosen to participate in the accelerator presented their projects to their cohort, mentors and representatives from Filecoin.
About the Encode x Filecoin Accelerator
After the success of our Filecoin Educate and Filecoin-dedicated NFT Hack, the Filecoin Accelerator kicked off and ran for ten weeks as part of the Encode x Filecoing Programme.
The Encode x Filecoin Accelerator was an online accelerator taking the best hackathon and early-stage projects worldwide and helping them take the leap to become fully-fledged startups.
During the accelerator, the teams had the opportunity to build their projects, all the while supported by our team through weekly meetings and 1–1 mentorship. This way, each team got the support and feedback necessary to build a project not just from us, but from other teams as well. The tenth and final workshop was the pitch day where the teams presented their projects.
Accelerator Structure
- Lasted 10 weeks
- Weekly workshops on building your project
- Dedicated 1–1 mentorship meeting
- Expectation to build intensely, but not full-time, for those 10 weeks
- A $5k stipend for participating
- Ended with a Pitch Day for follow-on funding

Ancon Protocol
Protocol for secure offchain data economy. Ancon protocol is a new kind of SDK and technology that can be used to implement secure offchain data integrations using best of breed offchain protocols like ipfs and any blockchain with smart contracts support.
PinSave
PinSave has made a decentralised version of Pinterest. It brings further utility to the NFTs, which are stored on IPFS and Filecoin.
NFsTreamer
A platform for creators to monetize their brands by selling clips of their live streams as utility NFTs which can be used by the fans as “Emotes” during the creator’s live streams in exchange for points that unlock fandom tiers. With each tier comes perks offered via NFsTreamer platform, for example exclusive access to discord channels, private streaming sessions with the creator and more to be added later on.
Dosier
Dosier is a decentralized storage-based workspace where teams store, collaborate and track documents.
Hexlibrium
Hexlibrium is a play to earn game for visual learners to code mathematically. In this universe the game exists in a scenario of intergalactic expansion through the colonization of new planets in which each player lives in their own dimension and they invited to travel through space/time, to meet new people, learn strategic skills and earn money by mining cryptocurrencies. In this magic circle the players get Hexlibrium’s unique personalized NFT hologenetic profile connected with Hexlibrium’s own zodiac NFT robot and use Hexlibrium’s collected resources to enhance the experience of the learning process.
Insignia
Insignia is an immersive, AAA, 3D military strategy blockchain game that pays to play. Born out of the need to solve the known problems currently plaguing the blockchain gaming ecosystem, Insignia is at the melting point of NFT, DEFI and 3D gaming. A multi-platform and multi-protocol play-and-earn blockchain application with enjoyable game-play built with Unreal Engine. Players have the opportunity to own unique digital assets, not only valuable but have real in-game use case. Insignia is also implementing the concept of “collateral-less” NFT Leasing for non-stop, full-circle earning potential. Players can now earn while they play their favourite game and when they are not playing.
QSTN
QSTN is a blockchain enabled market research portal where users answer questions, earn credits and spend these rewards within QSTN digital environment.
Fantribal
Fantribal is a website for music artists, bands and their fans to mint and buy NFTs that celebrate events in the lifetime of fledgling artists. The sale of collectible NFTs provides valuable funds to support the early life of new artists. When they are famous there will be financial rewards for venues and fans through royalties from the sale of ultimately valuable NFTs.
