June was a month of realizations for us as we placed the final touches our sponsor decks and gauging general interest in the scene. When we look back to our first two years we saw a lot of potential moving forward then, and we still do now, only this time we wanted to focus a lot more on the value we would deliver. The End Game Summit may end on August 5th, but we intend to keep pushing our initiative and program forward to aid collegiate organizers realize their vision and attain success. What do we consider success? Growth.

What is Growth?

We need to acknowledge how loaded the term, “growth” actually is. In terms of success in the collegiate scene you need to realize that growth entails multiple facets of the organization at large and the scope of that organization’s goals. Consider the following:

  • Increase in active member count.
  • More events.
  • Field more esports teams.
  • Attract endemic industry sponsors.
  • Drive internal initiatives.
  • Much more!

Each one of these bullets has a multitude of prerequisites that, if not met, can spell out some unnecessary hardships for any organization. More members means you need a larger and more organized staff, more events require more professionalism and commitment from your staff, and fielding esports teams in general require their own organizational staff. The idea here is man-power, but more so quality man-power. Warm bodies simply will not do. That is why we created this leadership summit for collegiate organizers in the first place. We’ve been there! We know the struggle and we know the challenges. Until we see you on August 4–5th in Houston, TX, check out these news articles to stay current on the scene:
