On July 8, 2014, I announced JSHomes: Fighting Poverty with Code. Since then, we’ve been working with leaders in the housing first movement to bring high quality JavaScript training to those in need.

Here’s my original call to help:

In 2016, we’re taking JSHomes to the next level, partnering with companies to make free and affordable JavaScript training more widely available for everyone.

We’ve seen an amazing number of people contributing to our open source solutions, and the amount of traffic coming to our Medium blog, JavaScript Scene surprises me with exponentially larger numbers month after month.

Thank you for sharing our articles. Every time you do, you’re helping us make a difference.

We’ve come a long way over the course of the last year, and it’s only going to get better. But we need your help: We want to share access to our growing webcast library and course content with teams. To make that happen, we’ve created discounted pricing for teams, and we’re doubling down our commitment to help:

For every membership sold, we’ll give away a membership to somebody in need through the JSHomes outreach program.

We’ll continue to do so for the foreseeable future. Buy a membership, give a membership, whether you’re buying for yourself or for a team.

So get the boss to help your team level up with the High Velocity Development Team pass, and help us give the gift of code this Christmas.

Purchase a team pass before December 5th with the discount code teamholiday15 for 15% off.

JSHomes is a registered 501(c)(3) in the United States dedicated to fighting poverty with code. We partner with housing first job training programs to deliver quality code training to the recently homeless, and those receiving housing assistance. We’re looking for corporate partners to help us with our mission. If you’d like to help, please contact us.
