DNC Headquarters Ambushed by Protesters Claiming Party “Sold Out”
The Democratic National Committee (DNC) Headquarters in Washington DC was ambushed by protesters wearing blue jumpsuits, trying to gain access to the building. The group claimed they were hired movers but security fended them off and barricaded the front steps. Meanwhile, another group of protesters rolled out a large banner with only the word “Betrayal”.
The protestors said they came to “evict the DNC”, alleging that the Democratic Party, had “sold out” to corporate interests. And that that corruption within the democratic hierarchy played a part in the Party’s 2016 election defeat. Activist organization, Popular Resistance, claims responsibility for the heist.
