different types of extinction

This was interesting for me because I was researching and I came across this slide show and it talked about 3 different ways of extinction and I choose to write about these 3 things and what I learned about.

The first one I researched on was biological extinction and what this is when a certain species cant be found at all they just despair and humans just put them as extinct but they can very will be out there right now living life.

The second one is mass extinction and this happens when one or many animals are dying very fast in a short amount of time. One of the more famous mass extinctions ever is when all the dinosaurs died by a giant space rock and it killed over 90% of living things ,over 30 million years ago.

Number 3 is background extinction this happens when animals are dying at a normal rate because not all life can be sustained on earth and some animals just can survive.

Extinction rate is the percentage or the number of animals that die over a certain amount of time for example a year.
