Team Report Nov 3rd, 2018 — Major System Update is Coming.
Players,
In the past few days, the team has been working round the clock to carry out some of the most anticipated features and some minor updates. You will be able to see those new features after our upcoming service upgrade. The service maintenance will take place tomorrow at 10 AM (GMT 10:00:00 AM Nov 4th, 2018). The maintenance will take about 1–2 hours.
NOTE: During this update, serval of our smart contracts will be updated. It is highly recommended not to transfer your token during the update to avoid unpredictable outcome.
New Feature — Token Staking
After careful considerations, we have decided to follow our community and roll out token staking. After the Nov 4th update, players will need to stake their ET to claim the daily dividend. We believe token staking will be helpful for the healthy growth of the Endless Game system.
How does it work?
Your fund security is our priority. The staking mechanism is implemented just like staking for CPU and NET on EOS blockchain. The staked Endless Tokens are still in your wallet. Thus, after staking your ET, you can use your favorite wallet app to check your ET balance.
Players can choose to unstake their ETs anytime. The refunding process will take 24 hours. During the 24-hour period, one will not be able to transfer or receive the dividend from the refunding ETs. Please kindly note that the 24-hour countdown will be RESET with new refund requests.
Leaderboard
Our community has been incredibly supportive and provided us with tons of brilliant ideas. To express our gratitude towards our firmest supporters, we will launch the leaderboard campaign with the Nov 4th update.
With the leaderboard bonus, top 3 players (in terms of the amount of EOS wagered) will share the leaderboard bonus:
- 1st: 60% of the leaderboard;
- 2nd: 30% of the leaderboard;
- 3rd: 10% of the leaderboard;
The size of the leaderboard bonus increases as the total amount of EOS wagered grows (8000 EOS capped, subject to future adjustments).
- Volume <= 200,000 EOS: pot size — 400 EOS, 1st–240 EOS, 2nd–120 EOS, 3rd–40 EOS.
- 200,000 EOS < Volume <= 500,000 EOS, pot size — 1000 EOS, 1st–600 EOS, 2nd–300 EOS, 3rd–100 EOS.
- 500,000 EOS < Volume <= 1,000,000 EOS, pot size — 2000 EOS, 1st–1200 EOS, 2nd–600 EOS, 3rd–200 EOS.
- 1,000,000 EOS < Volume <= 2,000,000 EOS, pot size — 4000 EOS, 1st–2400 EOS, 2nd–1200 EOS, 3rd–400 EOS.
- Volume > 2,000,000 EOS, pot size — 8000 EOS, 1st–4800 EOS, 2nd–2400 EOS, 3rd–800 EOS.
The leaderboard data will be reset on GMT 00:00:00 every day.
