Energi Gen 3 Update

The Energi Gen 3 smart contract platform was originally scheduled to launch on the 18th of December, 2019. After careful consideration, we are moving back the launch timeframe to the end of February 2020 or possibly sooner. Though the development of Energi Gen 3 is complete and it is ready for launch, we want to ensure that all of our users and partners have adequate time to prepare for a smooth transition to our new blockchain. With the holidays quickly approaching, and the Energi Earndrop appeals process entering its final stages, this new timeframe will allow all of our users the space to feel prepared for launch.

With the extra time this new timeline will give, we would like to encourage everyone to participate in a re-launch of our Gen 3 testnet on December 18. This provides an opportunity to get hands-on experience with our next-generation platform, including the ability to test coin migration with testnet coins. We will distribute testnet coins for anyone who would like to participate. As well we will be hosting a bug-bounty program, paying up to 5000 NRG for any critical bugs discovered in Gen 3! Stay tuned for further details about how to get involved in testing and our bug-bounty program.
