Gen 3 Third-Party Services Maintenance Announcement
As the Energi Gen 3 launch draws closer, we’d like to provide some additional information regarding what to expect during the migration period.
Once the Gen 3 migration process begins, all existing wallets will need to be migrated to a wallet on the new chain before you can access your balance. We will be providing the community with detailed instructions on how to do this with the coins held in your Energi Core wallet or the Coinomi mobile wallet.
Third-party services will need to enter a maintenance period where deposits and withdraws will be disabled for some time while they complete the migration process. The time that it takes to complete the migration will vary depending on each service provider (please note, we don’t have any control over the length of time each provider takes). Third-party services include Coinomi, exchanges, shared masternode services, staking pools, and the Energi Discord Rainbot wallet.
The Energi Discord Rainbot is expected to experience an extended maintenance period of approximately two weeks. However, it is possible that the maintenance period could take longer. During the maintenance period, the Rainbot will still function in most ways. We will continue to share NRG rain in the rain channel and it will still be possible to transfer balances between users on the Discord server. Only deposits and withdrawals will be disabled during the maintenance period.
It’s recommended that users move their NRG funds to the Energi Core Wallet (as soon as possible) if you wish to have quick access to those funds after the migration. Energi bears no responsibility for any losses or delayed access to funds that are held by third-party services, including the Energi Discord Rainbot.
