Energy Premier as a sponsor of the Blockchain Summit Zurich — here are our favorite moments

The Blockchain Summit is a unique event held in the largest city in Switzerland — Zurich. It is the biggest conference and professional discussion of the world’s best experts, participants, visionaries in the blockchain industry. There, everyone is discussing about the blockchain and crypto world, including technologies, inventions, future ideas, goals, etc.

We had the opportunity to sponsor such event, which is considered as the world’s main blockchain conference. The Blockchain Summit took place on 8th March in the Hilton hotel in Zurich, and our team was a part of it.

The Blockchain Summit Zurich is a serious event that gathers only the top ICOs and crypto experts in the world, including participants from all over Europe, USA, Canada, and Korea. The conference was reserved to a very high quality ICO startups, most of which had a working prototype or a first-version product — which is a very rare thing to find in this industry.

It is an honor for us to be a part of this event because being a sponsor of such an important event establishes and proves our purpose in this industry. Our mission is to give direct access to the retail energy market to the suppliers, while at the same time to give suitable prices to the consumers. We utilize blockchain and smart contracts that bring flexibility and transparency without place for corruption. We presented the Energy Premier idea in front of a panel of investors and crypto experts who were in love with the project.

Besides ICO, there were other discussed topics, such as the statistics of ICO incorporation. Here we learned about the amazing pace of trade on crypto exchanges, the fact that there are now almost twice as many crypto exchanges as there are commodities exchanges in the world, the fact that USA and CH are by far the two largest ICO launchpads geographically while USA is ramping down quickly and Japan and Korea are ramping up. We have also touched on the topics of scalability on different blockchains and had technical discussions on the topic.

One of the best part for us in this conference is that we have met with people included in several other promising blockchain startup projects. It is a great opportunity to meet such people and to exchange ideas and opinions about the blockchain technology, ICO, cryptocurrencies, etc. Read more about the above-mentioned people and their projects:

• Lili Cizelj from BehaviourExchange (BEX). The BehaviourExchange platform enables B2C businesses to identify visitors and their personal characteristics in real time when they visit their website. It also enables an automated customization of a website content so that each visitor see different products, services, content, when visiting a website, which results in a valuable personalized interaction that will more likely lead to a desired actions. Like our ICO, this platform has a live product with lead users, which is a proof that the project is promising and that blockchain technology is transforming the modern world.
• Natalija Veljkovic, Sanja Bestic and Vitomir Jevremovic from VR ALL ART. The VR ALL ART platform is a marketplace for artists, museums, collectors, galleries, and the general public to exhibit, explore and acquire art. It is an infinite gallery space where you can explore artists and artworks from different parts of the world. You can also find the real size and a lot of information about every artwork there. This platform introduces a special 3D scanning system, an advanced method for preservation and digitalization of art. Their ICO is a rare ICO project with a live product and lead users, just like Energy Premier. It is a game-changer and a positive project as well.
• Stefan Schmidt, CTO at UniBright. The UniBright company is a startup company currently in their ICO process. It is a team of developers with 20+ years of experience in business integration. Their idea is to ease the integration of blockchain technology into existing business, because there are many companies who are interested in blockchain, but struggle to use it. We like them because they are using blockchain in an advanced way to solve logistic problems.
• Yury Morozov and Kirill Maskaev, CEO at Clementvale. The Clementvale platform is using the blockchain technology to transform the telecom industry. Their project enables any mobile operator to be able to publish its own tariff plans and smart contracts, thus enabling faster and cheaper process for the subscribers to choose their favorable operator. We like them because they are transforming the world of roaming in the telecom industry and they are also a large established telecommunications player going into the crypto space with an ICO — showing blockchain makes sense for large corporations as well.
• Samuel Jame Rae, CEO at NewsBTC. The NewsBTC company is a major crypto media company that covers bitcoin news, technical analysis and forecasts for bitcoin and other altcoins. Their mission is to enlighten the world about cruptocurrencies. We talked about the direction of ICO and crypto advertising and importance of credible news sources in the space.
• Joushua Jin and Henry Yang from SK Telecom. SK Telecom is the largest Korean telecommunications provider, with more than 29 million mobile subscribers. They are actively developing powerful platforms aimed at delivering optimal value to customers and sustaining growth in the rapidly changing business environment. We have discussed about various opportunities in this sector, as well as about potential partnerships.

It was a privilege for us to meet these people and to learn more about their ICO projects. They liked the idea about Energy Premier and they are supporting us in this ongoing road.

Blockchain has many applications — in supply chains, healthcare, global monetary systems, financial technologies, energy trading, music, electronic record authentication, delivery of Government services and many more. It is is the future — player that is changing the technology world.
