LETTER
Happy NaNoWriMo from ETE!
Are you participating in NaNoWriMo this year?
On the surface, NaNoWriMo is a goal to write 50,000 words. But it has involved into a celebration of the writer community.
Writing in often an activity done in isolation, so it’s reassuring to know many of us are struggling with the same issues: figuring out plot holes; resisting shiny new ideas to finish what we started; and the frustration when the words don’t come out exactly the way we envisioned.
I’ll be blogging about NaNoWriMo 2019 this month, in hopes that it keeps me on track. Last year, I wrote Illegals for NaNoWriMo, and in 2017, I wrote Peri and Kon.
I definitely couldn’t have gotten the kickstart I needed if it weren’t for the push of November and the writer community.
Thank you, and good luck!
You got this.
LM
