What brings Jury’s face together?

Any professional or online community is centered on bringing people with shared beliefs and interests. The type of community here, Face the Jury, connects its members through various shared beliefs, goals, interests, and various hobbies. I believe that this community plays a key role in its customer experiences and interactions. My belief is based on the fact that before one joins the Face the Jury community, they must declare their interests in the sign-up section. To achieve this, there is a need to achieve a high level of clarity of information in the platform so that all members can understand it. Members should be able to declare their physical appearances when joining and uploading pictures that match their descriptions (FTJ, 2021). Some of the common activities that are done in this community are relationship advisories, sports and gambling discussions, suggestions of movies, books, and video games to catch up with, the new music in town suggestions. To make this community a success, I think the platform

Should enable people to be driven by the desire to be a family that is united by openness and integrity.

I think members of this community should speak their minds and speak about issues affecting them. On the other hand, some seasoned experts should offer advisories on issues like dating, coping up with stress, and deals to invest in among others. Although members have different hobbies like listening to music, playing video games, and reading novels, their common belief is that they are part of one family that is joined together. As a result, Face the Jury should create a good platform for people to sell their ideas as well as market their products. A lot of members have built up their portfolios since they joined the community. Discussions on political issues have always brought members in this platform so close despite their differing political affiliations. Members from the United States for example were able to rate their presidential candidates on what they have to offer in the platform. Topics like politics, relationships tend to gain momentum and mostly a heated debate is witnessed on the platform. Therefore, this Face the Jury is more than a community and creates a sense of belonging to the members. Members usually have mandates to correct each other in case of deviation from the main issue.

What divides the community?

Despite the community having common beliefs and interests, there are parties within the community. Sometimes differences and disagreements are encountered in the platform. For example, during the last United States elections, some people were supporting Biden and others, Trump. At one point splinter groups emerged with respective supporters forming their subgroups. Additionally, when it comes to issues like sports, factions ensue with various supporters of sports teams splinting. For example, supporters of Manchester United may decide to form their subgroup where they can discuss matters regarding their team. Another team also forms theirs. These factions usually bring division in the group.

Another controversial topic that brings division as well in the platform is religion and philosophy. At one-point insults emerge on the platform with various religious members trying to prove their support of their belief. A Christian subgroup may emerge, as well as a Muslim splinter group. These groups make the platform lose its meaning at some point. Factions are normal to many online communities. However, administrators make sure the purpose of the platform is not lost. The common beliefs always reign despite any arguments or differences. At some points, the differences create an atmosphere of uniting more strongly. Topics like music usually play a central role in bringing people together. Music is viewed as an aesthetic issue that does not create enmity or disagreements. Additionally, issues like relationships neutralize some of the differences witnessed in the platform.
