Humans have always been trying to convey or invoke different types of emotions through the use of images, it has been seen as far back as the caveman drawings with people trying to paint or draw the interactions they encounter on a daily basis. When it comes to present times the next step for trying to convey and invoke emotions within people is the step towards virtual reality. The problem with trying to have live interactions with the images you are displaying to others is that it brings up 3 pretty real obstacles of motion, emotion, and beyond emotion. The first case with motion is that not everyone is capable of interacting and receiving these images in the same way, and motion sickness becomes a real and apparent factor. By having the camera moving and the sounds to relate to the specific movements, all while having your body stay in the same place causes people to encounter motion sickness. As technology increases and continues to develop into better and more efficient ways, we will hopefully be able to see ways for everyone to enjoy this technology while eliminating the risk of people getting sick. The next factor is emotion, as developers have figured out pretty early on that is easy to have the player/user trapped within their products as they are completely immersed when using. Because of this they are then able to drive the emotions into the games and images in a way that are stronger than before. Unlike when watching a movie or viewing a still photo, with VR the user is wearing a headset putting them in the moment as well as conveying sounds that are right in the ear, not allowing the person to look away or be distracted the user then receives the full experience at hand. Finally there is the factor beyond the emotion, as VR continues to make strides towards better the experience for others another thing it is doing is also being seen as a medicine or tool used to help with mental illnesses such as PTSD, phobias and even strokes. As the technology increases and the science also improves we will only see better results coming from these new products.

Everyone is getting bored of the basic powerpoint presentations and developers are beginning to see this. Prezi, a new tool to create and showcase your presentations on came out almost 10 years ago. This digital poster board gives the user the ability to add in animations and create presentations that will be new and more engaging to the user as they follow you through what exactly it is you have to present. Change is never an easy thing for the common person to implement into their daily routines, causing them to learn new ways of presenting and even just learning new programs. As the technology increases and the user ability becomes easier we will see a viable and friendly platform to create presentations on that will be the main competition for Microsoft current programs.
