If you’ve been looking for ways to improve your concentration, you’re in the same boat as many others. It seems the concept of focus has gone through a transformation in the 21st century, with a myriad of distractions making it a challenge to focus on a single task. I can certainly say I have experienced these struggles.

I often feared that I wouldn’t make my self-imposed goal of writing 12 articles a month while working a day job. I needed to find a way to get focused in order to achieve these dreams and goals going forward.

There was a time when I couldn’t maintain my focus on work for more than 10 minutes. I would catch myself checking my Instagram or Facebook instead of completing my task at hand.

This was before I decided to master the art of focus.

There were some essential steps to elevate my focus.

Before trying to enhance my focus, I had to evaluate my relationship with it. It’s like refueling my car at a gas station. If I don’t know how much fuel I have left, how do I know how much to add?

I should be able to look back 2–3 days and analyze my activities, whether in studying or working. Being alert, meeting daily work goals, and taking regular…
