My daughter, Quinlynn, is overseas again. This time, she’ll be gone for a year. Last year, she spent 90 days in Italy as an au pair.

New adventures await in a new country.

Inspiration and making decisions

As soon as she returned last year, Quinlynn was ready to return to Europe and began researching how she could stay long-term. She has a teaching degree and an additional year, including certifications in reading and English Language Learner, and knew she wanted to work with children.

Quinlynn also loves the idea of traveling and seeing more of Europe. She found a program that combined the best of both worlds and allowed her to stay for an entire school year: the North American Language Assistants in Spain Program (NALCAP).
