Medium Pub Crawl: Engage Joins the Virtual Meetup

Save the date: Medium Pub Crawl on March 19, 2024

Hi everyone,

Medium will host the first-ever Pub Crawl later this month.

This will be a “virtual gathering” designed as a community-centric event set in a welcoming environment where publication editors and writers can meet and bond.

This project aligns perfectly with our vision here on Engage. So last month, I sent an application.

I saw this as a great audience development opportunity for an indie publication like Engage.

So our initial plan was to join in and help make this a virtual haven to strengthen the bond connecting publishers, editors, writers, and readers across the publishing/writing chain.

Over the weekend, I was thrilled to receive the news that Engage had been accepted as an exhibitor at Medium’s Pub Crawl.

Each publication will have its own virtual booth where writers and readers will find more information with just a click.

I’ve already set up Engage’s virtual booth in the “Expo Hall” with information about our publication.

I welcome your feedback about it. Please let me know if you feel we need to add more details.

During the event on March 19, publishers will be available to engage with participants via Zoom in scheduled time slots.

So I recommend you save the date and don’t miss this chance to interact with editors in a speed networking session via live chat or video room.

During this session, editors will be happy to answer all your questions and share more about their publications.

This is a golden opportunity for all Medium users — publishers, editors, writers, and readers alike.

Key reasons why I believe this is a must-attend event:

  • Connect and share information in a dynamic virtual environment.
  • Engage in informative panels and collaborate through speedy networking.
  • Editors and publishers forge personal connections with new writers.
  • Writers will develop essential skills — pitching, and understanding the why and how of submissions.
  • Publications can expand their following and build a broader writing community.
  • Gain insights into your favorite publications and explore new ones.
  • Understand the intricacies of submitting stories, the editing process, audience building, and the collaborative bond between editors and writers.

Don’t miss out on this enriching experience that benefits every Medium user.

There’s still time for you to join the Medium Pub Crawl via Zoom Events.

If you are a publisher, you can register here.
