Last February, I wrote about Bobi, the Portuguese dog who captured people's hearts worldwide as the world’s oldest dog ever.

At 30 years old, Bobi had shattered the previous record and was a living example of the true love and enduring bond between humans and their faithful companions.

Now the news of Bobi’s passing at the age of 31 has struck us all here in Portugal.

Bobi had become an icon of canine resilience. But amidst the sorrow, I have to pay tribute and bid adieu to a dog like no other.

The announcement was made on social media by Le Terrier Studio, a pet photography studio leading the tribute.
