SEMESTER GROUP PROJECT
Okay all, this is the group project. This is a semester long project that will culminate in a class discussion/presentation (possibly two days’ worth of discussion/presentations) and will be something you and your group comes up with cultivating.
You have several options to create this SPACE. You can do a podcast, a series of videos, you can create a website with a blog/vlog, you can create a YouTube channel, you can do a survey that then becomes an analytical presentation, you can do a series of interviews, you can, you can, you can…
YOU CAN DO JUST ABOUT ANYTHING. The main thing is the work should have a specific FOCUS and PURPOSE.
This is not a general project, so you and your group need to figure out what you are all interested in, what you all can create, the roles you all have, etc…
ENGINEERING, as a field is HUGE, so be creative in thinking what you all want to CONTRIBUTE to the specific conversation, WHY that, and HOW you will do that exploration.
We will have several check ins and class discussions about where the project is at, what you’re learning, etc…
Make it MEANINGFUL for you and your audience. Think about what you all know already, and what you want to FIND OUT, and WHY. This will hopefully lead you to what you are looking to create together.
