The well-known speaker company- Bose, has recently introduced a new concept: augmented reality audio sunglasses. SAY WHAT? Bose has created these sunglasses that are multipurposeful. The frames itself only cost $199, while having built in speakers in the arms of the classes. This allows for music to be listened to without the need for headphones. The glasses also connect to your smartphone and connects to an app which then gives your directions (if you allow your location to be shared), highlights points of interest, and allows you to hands-free answer phone calls.

While the frames do not provide the viewer with new images to their surroundings, they are allowing augmentation in another fashion.
