There are so many different kinds of trees to be found in different types of forests, and many types can be found within a single forest. There is so much variety in American forests, which creates beauty and intrigue.

#2- Growing, Growing, Gone!

Certain forests have existed in America for hundreds of years. If you go to the Coast Range, you can find the magnificent Redwood. The width of these trees can be 2–3 times the length of a human being! While new forests are beautiful and worth visiting, older forests with huge trees are incredible.

#3- Beware! Appreciate what is Still There!

Forests are disappearing, especially those that are privately owned. We must protect our public forests and ensure that they do not become privately owned. But for your own sake, go out into forests to appreciate nature in one of the most immersive ways possible.
