Q: Why are you talking this class?
A: I am taking this class in order to graduate as an English major this spring. I preferred taking a writing class like this over a class that focused on literature.

Q:What environmental issues are important to you?
A: Knowledge on the environment — proper knowledge — is important to me. It concerns me that so many people brush off things that have been studied and proven by scientists.

Q: What environment actions do you take?
A: I try my best to do common “green” activities. I chastise my sister constantly for leaving lights on in the house in rooms she’s not using, I recycle, and I am conscious about the amount of water I use. I constantly fight my father over throwing away perfectly recyclable things.

Q: Anything else you would like us to know?
A: I have not taken a class in environmental studies before, so this will be a new experience I am interested to try out. I also really love animals. (I have the cutest puppy in the world named Cassiopeia.)

Cassiopeia (Cassie) at three months old.
