In this story the narrator, the young boy, has an unconventional point of view about love. Throughout the story he is very observant and sees love portrayed in the Soap Operas his mother watches. This causes him to think that he loves Ben. His voice is seen in his attitude toward love and thus towards Ben. This story is written in first person point of view because the boy is telling the story.
