Interpretations

I believe that every person has different interpretations of everything. The way in which we look at things is different from other people. Everyone sees life from a different perspective. This is because of the experiences we’ve had and the events that we have lived through. Finding the meaning in something depends on the person’s outlook on the subject they are looking at and the state of mind they are. If you look at a piece of artwork or listen to a song when you’re sad, you will probably view or associate that with something that is sad. The same thing can happen if you’re happy or upset. Interpreting the meaning behind a piece of work varies between people which is why in I’ve found that in English classes, during high school, determining the meaning of a book or poem is extremely subjective.
