Its been almost a year since my grandfather has passed away. No one really knows how to handle death. Sometimes it happens out of nowhere, and other times you know and still can't do anything about it. My grandpa dying was so beyond hard for my family and me to process, but it shaped me into the person today.

I’ve learned to cherish my time with my family. They won't be here forever. I figured out how to cope with difficult situations in life. Losing someone you love so much is so hard to overcome, and it took me a long time to be able to talk about my grandpa without crying. #personalessay
