POV

In “Girl” by Jamaica Kincaid the writing to me seems to be a list of tasks/informative tips bestowed from adult to child. More in relation of a mother to a daughter, a list of tips or information given to help a young women grown into women hood. In correspondence to the literal point of view of the piece, it is in second person POV. #POV
