In “Varsity”, the POV and voice of the story makes it so interesting and intriguing . First you get a glimpse of 14 year olds bullying another boy that has special needs and you can see that their voices and what they are seeing are more of enjoyment rather than respecting the boy who has special needs, and after they take his clothes when he is in the shower it switches to the special needs boys POV and you can just see how distraught he is. It’s sad that the boy was getting taken advantage of because of his disabilities but it shows both sides through POV and how the tone of the boys affect the disabled boy. The author finally says at the end of the story how would the boys feel and what would they do if they saw the disabled boys and you could see that the tone of their voice went from using/taking advantage of to regret/and a hint of wishing to be forgiven.
