Taking care of our planet is crucial. This is the only place where humans can survive, this is our homes. Therefore taking care of it is important. Climate change has become a political topic nowadays. But it shouldn’t be since climate change is in fact real and we need to be responsible for saving our planet. Earth’s climate has changed throughout history. Just in the last 650,000 years there have been seven cycles of glacial advance and retreat, with the abrupt end of the last ice age about 11,700 years ago marking the beginning of the modern climate era and of human civilization. Most of these climate changes are attributed to very small variations in Earth’s orbit that change the amount of solar energy our planet receives.

To prevent our earth from slowly being destroyed from climate change we need to take care of it. We should start to use energy wisely. Looking for energy star labels when buying new appliances is something that can help save up energy. Another alternative to taking care of our planet is to begin a climate conversation.
