Interpretation is generically just the action of explaining something but I know interpretation is deeper than that. It is explaining something based on what you know, what you believe. An interpretation of something comes from comparing this current thing to something or an experience you know and deciding based on that how it is both similar and different. By evaluating an object or idea, naturally your past experiences will determine how you interpret something.
