The POV in I Heard a Fly Buzz When I Died is in the first-person point of view of the narrator who is the one “hearing a fly buzz”. This gives the piece a sort of relatability to the character as we get to dive into their thoughts. The voice in this piece is also very important because of the simplicity of the words but the words used together creates a complexity that I find very hard to accomplish but a very powerful writing style.
