Response to “The Loneliness of Specific Objects”

“The Loneliness of Specific Objects” is a masterpiece of a short story. There isn’t much of a plot, there is no storyline, yet there is a beautiful emotion and underlying tone to the piece. I really liked the structure of the piece, how it is a bunch of little stories combined but they all bring out the same emotion in me, a kind of bland gloominess. I think I’d call this more of a poem than a short story but I absolutely loved it.#Response #ENG1303
