“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”

— Nelson Mandela

I have the coolest job.

I do many things at Enjin but without a doubt, the best aspect of my role is creating opportunities to interact in meatspace with developers, gamers, innovators, content creators, investors and executives.

E3 was the perfect forum for the Enjin Away Team to mingle amongst some of the industry’s finest, and do what we do best: talk about how blockchain gaming is going to change the world.

A lot of what we do at events is educate: we deliver a wide range of knowledge about the blockchain, cryptocurrency and how it can affect gaming.

Projecting your voice over thumpin’ beats for 12hrs a day gives you a Emma Stone/Kathleen Turner-esque rasp!

The attendees at E3 were no different from the people we meet at other events in that there will be a range from zero knowledge to the expert.

We had fun talking to everyone!

“Passion is needed for any great work, and for the revolution, passion and audacity are required in big doses.”
— Che Guevara

The energy at E3 was unreal!

I attribute a lot of the excitement, exuberance and general glee to our prime location in the South Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center.

The Enjin booth was nestled amongst the giants in the industry; we were directly across from the jaw-dropping Ubisoft booth and next door to the ever-popular Bandai Namco booth.

We were within arms reach of Capcom, Bethesda, WB, Square Enix and if I stood on my tip toes, I could see Epic Games and Activision.

I loved our 1000 sqft Enjin-themed oasis, designed to provide lounge style seating, allowing for natural conversation and comfort.

The Enjin booth served as a haven for the wide-eyed and eager attendees.

We provided the comfiest chairs at the entire conference, killer swag bags chock full of epic items and interesting conversations about how the blockchain can revolutionize gaming!

Thanks to the background soundtrack coming from the surrounding booths, our team ran on an energized current of enthusiasm, passion and fun.

We love talking about the cool things happening at Enjin!

“The blockchain cannot be described just as a revolution. It is a tsunami-like phenomenon, slowly advancing and gradually enveloping everything along its way by the force of its progression.”

— William Mougayar

One of the biggest challenges the Enjin Away Team faces at events is helping people understand not only the need for blockchain technology but also guiding them to the realization that the adoption of the blockchain is inevitable.

Whether or not the world is ready for it, this tidal wave of innovation is coming and Enjin is riding the crest of that wave.

We want to position ourselves as the authority on the subject.

We want to help establish the standard for the technology.

We want to show the world — this is how you do it (cue the Montell Jordan music).

We know we can’t reach everyone from a booth at GDC in San Francisco or from our island oasis at E3 in Los Angeles, but it’s a lot of fun interacting with the very people whose lives will improve with the implementation of our technology!

When we are on the floor at these events our goal is to properly harness all the passion that is going into making our products and use it for seeding the change we want to see in gaming.

E3 is mostly known for being the event to unveil what’s new and cool in gaming (that’s why we needed to be there!).

We also found E3 to be useful for highlighting the need for blockchain technology in applications outside of gaming. There are an infinite number of problems that exist in the world today that the blockchain can solve; gaming is merely one facet to the larger picture.

At Enjin, we get it — change is hard.

Blockchain technology is poised to replace many elements of our world that have been in place longer than anyone can remember.

“Change can be frightening, and the temptation is often to resist it. But change almost always provides opportunities — to learn new things, to rethink tired processes, and to improve the way we work.”

— Klaus Schwab

At Enjin, we don’t fear change — we’re driven by it.
