The past couple of months at Enjin HQ were marked by an unrelenting march towards large-scale adoption, groundbreaking industry firsts and massive technological breakthroughs.
We’ve logged exactly 13,095.37 hours, not including the ridiculous amount of hours our CEO Maxim Blagov works, days spent at gaming and blockchain industry events across the globe, or the hours spent laying in bed, obsessively thinking about what we should do next.
It has been a long, arduous quarter — but it’s all about to be worth it.
Mainnet
Our mainnet launch will signal the dawn of a new era for blockchain adoption.
We will release instructions that will enable anybody and everybody to mass produce fungible tokens or one-of-a-kind non-fungible collectibles.
The ERC-1155, invented by our CTO Witek Radomski and the Enjin team, is the most advanced token standard on the Ethereum blockchain.
We foresee that ERC-1155 will be a game-changer for all industries that can benefit from immutable proof of ownership, transparent proof of authenticity, and a standard that can support millions of fungible and non-fungible tokens in a single smart contract.
EnjinX
We believe that EnjinX will be the most user-friendly blockchain explorer on the market.
It will start off by displaying rich meta-data from Ethereum’s blockchain, with full integration of next-generation ERC-1155 tokens, then it will be quickly upgraded to include the Bitcoin and Litecoin blockchains.
Once we start releasing custom APIs for websites, games, and platforms to adopt, the functional utility of Enjin X will shatter the ceiling, enabling new forms of blockchain data to find its way into all manner of strange internet-ready devices.
Enjin Wallet
The Enjin Smart Wallet will soon be putting even more distance between itself and its competitors by releasing the best crypto-item management system in the world.
The next upgrade will see the Enjin Wallet become an advanced control center that will command Ethereum’s blockchain in ways that no wallet has done before.
The first advanced feature to be released will enable users to activate complex smart contracts that involve melting crypto-items and turning them back to Enjin Coin.
Future updates of the wallet will also include subscriptions, item rentals, loans, and secure escrow vaults.
The Blockchain SDK by Enjin
The unveiling of our Software Development Kit for Unity will be a defining point in the history of Enjin, and it’s not something we’re taking lightly.
The Blockchain SDK by Enjin is fully functional and ready to be released.
The mass adoption of blockchain technology into games rests on our ability to execute this launch perfectly, both from a development and marketing standpoint.
Unity Technologies will add the Blockchain SDK to the front page of the Asset Store where it will be accessible to 4.5 million Unity developers.
This will enable Enjin Coin-backed items to reach up to 770 million gamers through platforms like Android, iOS, Windows, Mac, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Facebook Gameroom, Oculus Rift, Google Cardboard, and many, many more.
There are already hundreds of Unity developers lining up to adopt our Blockchain SDK — but we want to 10x that number.
We will be unleashing an innovative incentivization campaign to coincide with our joint announcement with Unity.
The Web SDK
This easy to use website will blow open the gates to adoption and enable even the most computer illiterate users to create sophisticated ERC-1155 tokens on the blockchain.
Never before has this level of technology been so accessible to entrepreneurs, institutional enterprises, and government officials.
Any organization that can benefit from having better tools to authenticate ownership and verify authenticity will be able to use this platform to disrupt their industry.
All they need is a bit of ENJ to mint with and a little ETH to cover gas fees.
And a click of a single button that says “Mint.”
All of these incredible innovations are slated to be released within the next four or five weeks.
So, what did we achieve in the last 3 months?
Everything that we’re about to achieve over the next month or so is possible because of the long days and sleepless nights we went through over the last quarter.
We understand that nothing will make our supporters happier than seeing the results a perfectly executed adoption strategy will create — the best is yet to come.
ERC-1155
There had literally been 1155 different token standards released prior to the ERC-1155, many of them created by teams of incredibly talented blockchain developers.
Enjin has as unique target demographic for the adoption of tokenized assets.
What’s more, the types of tokens required by the games market are also as vast as the tokens required for real-world economies.
This has forced our development team into the position where they had to innovate something that is more advanced than anything that came before, and a solution that’s adaptable for any use-case one can think of.
The Enjin Smart Wallet
Over the last three months, the Enjin Smart Wallet went from being the most secure mobile wallet cryptocurrency in the world to the most advanced cryptocurrency wallet in the world.
We added the ability to watch and manage limitless addresses which will become especially useful with the influx of ERC-1155 use cases that are about to happen.
While becoming the most responsive and intuitive wallet app on the marketplace, it now also boasts security that puts most banking apps to shame.
Our fierce team of dedicated developers has beaten multi-billion dollar financial institutions at their own game.
Business and Marketing Successes
In the last three months, we’ve scaled up our marketing department and onboarded writers, contributors, and business development managers.
Some of our key marketing & business development achievements include:
- The media storm for ERC-1155 reached as far as NASDAQ.com and Korea’s largest financial news outlet, Korea Economic Daily.
- We built a relationship with Anti-Hero Capital, one of the world’s top blockchain investment funds, who have since joined our advisory board in a bid to connect us to gaming industry titans.
- The Enjin Smart Wallet reached over 100,000 downloads on Google Play and became Google Play’s #1 trending finance app in Greece and Singapore.
- We landed on national TV in China and South Korea.
- We also created a formidable presence at E3, Blockchain Gamer Connects, Unite Berlin, Unite Seoul, Unite Beijing, and Dogecon.
It has been an amazing couple of months, and although we didn’t accomplish everything we planned to, in some ways, we accomplished more than we ever could’ve dreamed.
