Ten days ago, we launched the Enjin Smart Wallet — a Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin & ERC20 tokens wallet designed for fast, secure and simple coin management.

Our mobile cryptocurrency vault has since garnered over 30,000 downloads and more than 550 overwhelmingly positive reviews on Google Play — and is quickly climbing up in numbers, rankings and exposure.

As our investors community is growing with an unprecedented pace, those that are not-so-familiar with the Enjin Coin project often have the same question:

“Why does a gaming cryptocurrency project need a wallet at all?

The answer is simple — Enjin Coin is not just a gaming crypto. We are building a blockchain game development ecosystem — and the Enjin Smart Wallet is a core part of that ecosystem.

Why?

Millions of gamers across the world are supposed to use it to store their blockchain-based digital assets — everything from characters and weapons to spaceships and entire planets.

Those gamer’s assets could be worth tens, hundreds or thousands of dollars — so we had to make sure that the Enjin Smart Wallet is as safe as technically possible.

We started the Enjin Wallet development with competitive analysis of other mobile wallets — concluding that other wallets are extremely lacking in security, speed and ease-of-use.

This quickly led us to realise a profound fact — due to its unparalleled security and UX/UI features, the Enjin Wallet could easily become the default smartphone wallet for cryptocurrency investors.

Besides taking us one step closer to the finish line of our development roadmap, the Enjin Wallet is a proof of our teams competence — have in mind that we launched our first working and polished product only 70 days after our massively successful ICO ended.

Belief without evidence is the very definition of delusion.

While other blockchain projects might rely on blind faith powering their market caps, we think that investor’s belief, confidence and trust in Enjin Coin should be based on actually understanding the project — which is why we do our best to explain, educate and inform.

The Enjin Wallet is a great product which we are extremely proud of. We’ll continue to make it better with each new update — and while on the subject, here’s what’s new in the latest one.

Add Custom Tokens (ERC-20)

Add any ERC-20 token manually to your wallet. Just input the Token Contract Address, Token Symbol and decimals. Once added, the token will appear in your wallet and you can send and receive.

This feature is usually used for tokens that are not yet listed on exchanges or CoinMarketCap and are undergoing an ICO or distribution phase.

Unlock wallet with your fingerprint option

On supported devices you now have the option to unlock or open your wallet with your fingertip instead of password.

New auto-lock settings and timers

Choose to unlock your wallet with your fingertip or password. Auto-lock timers can be set from immediately to up to 5 hours.

New visual feedback mode for Enjin Secure Keyboard

The Enjin Secure keyboard has 3 secure modes. The first mode has been updated to provided better visual feedback on key presses and is now similar to existing keyboards on the market, while keeping your password input ultra secure.

Toggle Enjin Secure Keyboard vibrations on/off

Turn on or off keyboard vibration on the Enjin Secure Keyboard in all 3 secure modes.

Price per Coin Display

We’ve added the price per coin in the coin view list above the total value.

Stay tuned for the iOS version coming in February!
