The understanding of your customers builds over time — that’s why it’s important to be able to connect the dots with previous insights. Historically, researchers have worried about reinventing the wheel by doing research other team members have already done because of the lack of visibility into insights from past research, especially when multiple researchers are working on different products in different locations.

We built Stories so you can share your findings easily and have more visibility into insights generated by multiple teams and how those insights connect to each other.

Introducing Stories

You can think of Stories as mini blog posts that help you capture your learnings and share insights with your team and the entire organization. This short format is designed to make your insights more digestible and easy to connect to other insights in your account.

Here’s a quick video with everything you need to know:‌

Here’s What’s New 🎉

  • Stories can be created from within projects or as standalone pieces: This way you can capture and structure your findings as you analyze your data. No need to jump between the analysis board and the summary.
  • Your account has a new section where all your stories can be found: Now your team members and all read-only users can easily browse all your insights in one place.
  • Now you can connect dots from previous research: For example, if you did research on personas last year and you’re revising your personas today, you may want to connect the stories generated from both research projects to each other, this way you can start building a knowledge graph from your research.
  • Your Research Summaries can now be a collection of Stories: You have full control on how Stories are shared within your research projects. Summaries that you created in the past have been converted into Stories.
