Step 1: Connect your wallet

First, visit the homepage, where all the action happens: Enoki.finance

Here, you’ll be greeted by Wisdom, the timekeeper of the Enoki DeFi Club.

You’ll notice that if you click any of the icons, you’ll need to connect a a Web3-enabled wallet.

The easiest way to connect is by installing MetaMask. It’s a simple browser extension that can be downloaded for free from their website.

Step 2: Go foraging

Now that you have a Web3-enabled wallet, you can click on the mushroom icon and view the available mushroom farms.

Each Mushroom has a different lifespan, yield and cost to fruit. You can only buy Mushrooms with the $SPORE that you accumulate by staking tokens. They can’t be purchased directly from the pool, but can be traded amongst players.

Each mushroom is also associated with a specific token that you must stake. You can always withdraw your tokens, but remember, the bigger your share in the pool, the faster you can earn Mushrooms.

Let’s take the Bolete Mushroom, for example.

Here, you can see that if you deposit ENOKI<>ETH UniSwap LP tokens, you can earn the Enoki Mushroom card, which yields 10 $ENOKI token per week.

Step 3: Get Tokens

If you don’t already have ENOKI or SPORE, you can buy them here:

LP tokens are a little more complicated. If you already know how to mint them, please proceed to Step 4.

Mint LP Tokens

If you don’t have ENOKI<>ETH LP tokens, you can mint them by depositing equal amounts of ENOKI and ETH into a UniSwap pool.

Here’s what we see if we click the button above the “inoculate” box to visit the UniSwap pool.

As you can see, I already have around 5 ENOKI and 1.2 ETH. Not bad.

I’ll use 5 ENOKI, and UniSwap will calculate how much ETH I need to deposit. As my tokens sit in the pool, they will earn fees from people making swaps. Remember, you can withdraw an equal value of tokens that you deposit at any time.

Hit supply, wait for the confirmation, and then head back to Enoki to view your new balance.

Step 4: Inoculate the pool

My balance has now updated and reads “1.535” instead of “0.000.”

After I hit add, I may need to approve Enoki to spend my tokens. Sign the transaction (increase the gas if you’d like) and wait patiently until you are prompted to sign a new transaction.

Once you confirm, your tokens will be deposited into the pool and you’ll get closer to earning Mushrooms.

Step 5: Harvest your mushrooms

You’ve waited for your $SPORE to accumulate and you’re ready to harvest some mushrooms so you can earn that juicy $ENOKI.

Let’s take this SPORE pool for example. Stake SPORE, earn Bolete Mushrooms.

I’ve earned 12.68 $SPORE since my last harvest. And Boletes cost 8 SPORE each. I can afford 1 Bolete.

I’ll type a 1 and click “HARVEST”

Now this is the fun part. Confirm the transaction and wait. A Bolete Mushroom will be born with a lifespan between 4 to 8 days….

Click the Basket button and wait for your mushroom to appear.

7 and a half days!! Not bad…

This means that when I stake my Mushroom, I can earn 3.5 ENOKI per week, for a little over a week.

The mushroom won’t lose life unless you stake it. So you can hold onto it or trade this mushroom on Rarible or Open Sea, or hold on to it to use in other yield farms we work with.

If you do choose to stake it, you will start earning juicy $ENOKI.

Once you’ve staked a mushroom, you can watch its life start to decrease and see how much ENOKI you have generated thus far.

To claim your $ENOKI, unstake your mushroom. In the future, we’re adding automatic rewards so that you can leave your mushroom planted.

$ENOKI is The Enoki DeFi Club’s governance token, meaning holders get to vote, each week, to double or halve the rates at which each pool fruits mushrooms.
