We added a new feature to Powertracer. You can now click on the CO₂•e Meter button to see the carbon emissions of your energy usage, how amazing!

In the example below Powertracer shows 73.501kg of carbon emissions recorded over the one month period. It also shows us the carbon emissions for each day in the month.

In the CO₂•e Trade view below, you can now see the reduced carbon emissions for each day as the clean energy trades, which are from carbon free sources, are removed from the chart. What a difference clean energy trading makes to the daily carbon emissions!

CO2•e trade view of energy usage

Let’s focus in on the 12th of December in the single day view. In the CO₂•e Trade view below, we can see that all the carbon free day time energy is shown as zero. This is due to the property trading clean solar energy via peer-to-peer trades when solar energy is available. Unmatched energy supplied from the grid during the night, and early morning, has the emissions intensity factor for your state’s grid applied.

By trading clean energy using Powertracer, you can now see the positive impact you are having by reducing your electricity carbon emissions. By simply matching the source of your energy, at the time of clean energy generation you are playing your part by creating demand for clean energy, usually at a lower price. Powertracer unlocks the value of the source, time and price of clean energy for all consumers, large and small.
