We understand that many in the community are curious about what we believe is the best solution to the current problem. After carefully evaluating all the proposals put forth by the community and considering our ideas, we have come to the conclusion that the most viable solution is to increase the Max Supply to 700 million ENQ. We know this may sound surprising, but let us explain.
The team and project have been relying on funds raised in 2018 and have not received any additional funding since then. As a result, our resources are extremely limited. This is an important consideration and highlights the need for us to find a solution to our current challenges. We are grateful for the continued support of our community and hope to find a way to move forward together.
Our goal is for the community to manage these funds, and we intend to establish a full-fledged DAO mechanism for this purpose. We often receive questions about our plans for future listings and marketing budgets. To be transparent with our community, we must admit that we currently lack the funds to list on major exchanges and to make widespread and powerful marketing. That is why we believe increasing our max supply is not a madness at this time.
However, simply minting the coins to the general issuance and giving the team control over them is not a transparent enough solution and would betray the community’s trust in our project. Instead, we want to ensure that every 0.1 ENQ of the fund is spent in a transparent manner and for purposes that the community finds beneficial. To achieve this, we plan to develop a transparent voting mechanism that also decreases the influence of large stakeholders on the outcome of the vote.
Given the recent vulnerability and blow to our credibility as a team, we believe that this is the correct decision. We hope that our community will support us in this challenging journey. Thank you for your understanding and support!
