After careful consideration, the winning proposal was the option to extend the maximum supply to the amount of the exploit, which received a total of 3,656,372.9373578613 votes. As a result, the maximum supply will be increased by 79,723,426.95 ENQ.

Also in light of recent events, the team must put down a security deposit at KuCoin. The amount required is 100,000 USDT, it’s ~9,560,230 in ENQ tokens, which will be held in a distinct and secure wallet for a year. KuCoin wants to make sure the team has the fundsto protect users. Following this period, the funds will be released back to the team. If there were any exploit of the protocol’s vulnerability in future, users would be compensated from this security deposit. The wallet that will contain the frozen funds will be labeled with a unique tag. These funds will be frozen and excluded from circulation supply for a year.
