Weekly Tech Report
This is a summary of the work done by the Enecuum development team during the week of October 14–October 20
⚡️BIT network is updated with Enex fees added. This breaks BIT history, full nodes will not sync, but fastsync will work with new Docker images. To enable full nodes again we need to restart BIT from scratch, but we will do it after some testing and hopefully with Space Station already implemented.
⚡️The BIT update also brings multithreaded PoW miners. We will add info on how to start PoW with multiple threads to the guides soon. Be aware that each thread requires 2 GB of RAM, so not only your CPU’s number of cores matter.
⚡️New version (0.3.4) of the Chrome Extension will be released this week with an option to “login” with a seed phrase. Some bugs will also be fixed with the update. Adding and switching accounts will be a task for the next week.
