Add A Survey to Shopify’s Order Confirmation

The order confirmation page is an amazing piece of real estate that typically garners 100% of your customers’ attention. They’ve just entered their personal credit card information and are eager to see that their order has been submitted.

Utilizing EnquireLabs, in less than 60 seconds, you can publish a post-purchase survey on your Shopify order confirmation page (with no edits to your source code required!) A few key points to note:

  • The order Thank You page is one of the best places to implement a survey as it’s not intrusive in the user’s path-to-purchase. You’re not shoving a survey in a potential customers face as they’re on their way to giving you their credit card information.
  • You’re also collecting data from actual customers, which depending on the question(s) is much more valuable than collecting feedback from all users. Yes, understanding non-buyer behavior is important, but understanding trends among buyer behavior is much more more important. “How did you hear about us?” is really only important for users who have actually purchased something–those channels are the ones you want to scale.
  • Ezra Firestone of SmartMarketer talks of his success implementing post-purchase surveys on BOOM! by Cindy Joseph’s e-commerce website:

“I’m not exaggerating when I say this post-purchase survey has helped my business generate millions of dollars in sales.” — @ezrafirestone
