Amazon has sent an email to Prime Video subscribers telling them that from January 29 it will begin including ads in its movies and series so it can “continue investing in compelling content and keep increasing that investment over a long period of time.” If you don’t want to see content interrupted with ads, you will have to pay an additional $2.99 per month: “If you’re dumb enough to pay once, you’ll pay twice.” Wonderful attitude.
