As electric vehicle sales rise, emissions fall
Research by JATO Consulting of carbon dioxide emissions in the European Union over the past year shows that the sharp increase in electric vehicle sales in several countries across the bloc has led to a significant 16% drop in new vehicle emissions, from 117.7 g/km to 99 g/km.
