OpenAI takes the fight to Musk and Zuckerberg
According to The Verge, which accessed internal developments, OpenAI is reportedly developing a social network similar to Elon Musk’s X platform. The internal prototype integrates ChatGPT’s image generation capabilities with a social feed, though the project is still in the early stages. It’s unclear whether this will become a standalone app or be integrated into ChatGPT.
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has sought external feedback on the concept, a move likely to further strain the company’s relationship with Elon Musk. Musk recently made an unsuccessful $97.4 billion bid to acquire OpenAI and previously sued the company for allegedly deviating from its original mission.
