Why it’s worth taking the time to explore the wide range of chatbots now available

The Cambrian explosion of generative massive language models (LLMs) environment means that everyone can now explore their potential easily and quickly.

There are a number of advantages to getting used to using these models regularly, from becoming familiar with how they work to learning how to ask them the right questions. These are technologies that will be everywhere, so it is better to familiarize ourselves with their use as much as possible, and what’s more, knowing how to use them properly is not just about asking them a question from time to time, but something much deeper.

Of the many algorithms that have been emerging in recent months, Perplexity.ai caught my attention from the start, and in fact, I have mentioned it on a few occasions: its availability, being able to use it without having to create an account, and above all, its approach of including from the beginning the sources used in each answer, seemed to me more attractive than the algorithm that started all this madness, the ubiquitous ChatGPT.

In fact, I started to carry Perplexity.ai open in a browser tab, because it seemed to me a good way to quickly and comfortably solve certain doubts: as I have said on numerous occasions, it is not about eliminating critical thinking and taking what
