Will technology fill the modern-age horn of plenty?
According to Greek mythology, the Amalthean goat raised Zeus while he was in hiding from Cronus. When he was a child, and while playing with one of his rays, Zeus accidentally broke one of Amalthea’s horns, and to compensate her, he gave the broken horn the power that whoever possessed it would be granted everything he or she could need or desire. Hence the legend of the horn of plenty, or cornucopia.
