We’re thrilled to announce the latest addition to the EnRusk team!
Our newest EnRusken is Christian Long, M. Ed, who will be working with us on a variety of projects as a Senior Design Strategist and Master Facilitator.
Christian has a global reputation as an educational leader, designer, strategist, thought leader, provocateur & keynoter extraordinary, Christian has spoken internationally on topics ranging from design thinking mindsets, trends in education, emerging technologies, and innovative school design practices. Most recently he has keynoted in Russia, Luxembourg, Germany, Mexico, Canada, USA, and the list goes on.
Beyond working as an Ed Leader in schools he co-led The Third Teacher+ Studio within CannonDesign’s global Education architecture practice co-founded and ran the design studios Wonder by Design and founded and ran the Wonder Project. This saw him working at the intersection of Architecture and Education leading to some of the world’s most innovative educational architectural designs. all this makes him perfect for the work we are doing as apart of the DET Tech Schools Project.
Despite all the CV listings, which could go on forever, what we love about Christian is he is a deep thinker, avid reader, constant learner, listener (and he doesn’t mind a chat). Plus he’s not afraid to provoke or challenge when it’s needed. Many can provoke but the skill is knowing when and why you do. That takes courage and empathy, something he has in spades. This is not always an easy part of the job but it’s essential to the work to do. A skill we love to have applied to ourselves — see the photo below ;-)
