Looking for your podcast pick of the week, something new to dive into, or just a good binge listen? Each week we share our favourite shows, moments and content from the podcasts you love — and the ones you’ve never heard of.

Here are our picks for the best of this week on Entale.

Standout Weekly: No Such Thing As A Fish

No Such Thing As A Fish is a long-standing, weekly podcast from the writers of the hit BBC show QI. Every week, weird and wonderful facts discovered by the four hosts are discussed and explored. They’re all fascinating but our absolute favourite is a chapter from Episode 213 where the team discusses the origins of water skiing and the only water skiing elephant in the world, Sunshine Sally! You’ve got to see it to believe it!

Listen If: You’re looking to be entertained and informed.
You’ll Love If You Like: Freakonomics, The Infinite Monkey Cage
Listen Here: Episode 213, Chapter 4 : Water Skiing Elephants? (11 mins)

Bingeworthy: Dirty John

From the LA Times and Wondery, Dirty John is the true story of John Meehan and his relationship with business woman Deborah Meehan. Deborah thinks she’s met her ideal man, but its not long before their relationship takes a turn for the weird. Love, deception, forgiveness, denial and a murder…this show is gripping from the start.

Listen If: You want a short six part series to sink your teeth into and you’re a fan of true crime shows.
You’ll Love If You Like: S-Town, Atlanta Monster, In the Dark.
Standout Chapter: Episode 1, Chapter 2, First Date With John (5 mins)

Our New Favourite: Startup Microdose

The recently launched Startup Microdose is a show hosted out of the UK that interviews leading start-up founders — unpacking their stories, opinions, quirks and wisdom. Each episode is informative and thought-provoking but we particularly love the interview with Pip Jamieson, CEO of the Dots where she talks about her previous experience of working with David Blunkett, launching MTV in New Zealand and creating a next generation LinkedIn service for creatives.

Listen If: You want to be inspired by interesting founders in a light-hearted, conversational format.
You’ll Love If You Like: FT Startup Stories, The Pitch, How to Start a Startup
Standout Chapter: Episode 4, Chapter 2: Working with David Blunkett & Launching MTV in New Zealand (7 mins)
